ABOUT
Lennie Lawrence
Lennie Lawrence is a newly emerging British artist, signed with The Beggars Group. From a young age, Lennie has been exposed to all styles of music. As her parents were musicians, Lennie would frequently attend their small shows in pubs and local town halls, watching her mum sing and her dad play the piano. As she turned six years old, Lennie joined her parents on stage and expressed her emotions as a young child through singing. Not long after, the shows stopped due to absuse and slander from audience members. As Lennie's family would spend many summers in Greece, Lennie would sing in local greek bars to share her love for music there. This location has heavily influenced Lennie's passion for music and is shown throughout her new album 'Me, myself and I, as, for Lennie, being in Greece and by the beach represents freedom and happiness. Now, she wants to show people that they should do whatever makes them happy, and live their lives free of control from others.
Plans for the future
In the future, Lennie hopes to be able to play and share her indie music for larger audiences, not just local universities and bars. As her new song 'On purpose' has been released, Lennie hopes to create more merchandise for her fans and sharing her passion to 'live life the lennie way', encouraging people to always remember to enjoy life the way you want to. Lennie hopes to partner with small businesses to help those with less awareness from others.
